What is atrophic vaginitis?
Atrophic vaginitis is a disorder that consists of the narrowing of the walls of the vagina and a decrease in its lubrication. This produces greater dryness and vaginal inflammation.
It is caused, fundamentally, by the decrease in estrogen, which is the main female sex hormone, and is a very common problem in women with menopause (50% of women with menopause suffer from vaginal atrophy), influencing both sexual functionality and quality of life. Symptoms can be suffered for years, as long as appropriate measures are not taken.
The reasons are diverse and may have their origin in small sequelae of infections, in atypical morphology, congenital malformations or, simply, in the apprehension of penetration.
Vaginal atrophy is a more common problem than one might think, affecting women of all ages, although it is more common in women after giving birth or during lactation. However, it is in postmenopausal women that the highest number of cases are detected, affecting one in two.

When a man tries to have sex with a woman, the pelvic floor muscle group goes into spasm and contracts, closing the entrance to the vagina, making intercourse impossible and painful. This type of vaginismus makes penetration impossible.

The INTIMICHIC silicone dilator allows you to exercise and progressively dilate the vaginal canal. At the same time, it allows you to lose your fear of penetration through small daily exercises. How is INTIMICHIC DILATOR used?
It's a matter of first applying a little water-based lubricant to the entrance of the vagina (approximately the size of a chestnut) and massaging gently for 2 or 3 minutes.
Then take the smallest INTIMICHIC DILATOR element. Apply the lubricant equally to the tip in the same proportions.
Then, start pressing down to insert it into the vagina gently and gradually. If you notice dryness, add lubricant.
You can continue exercising for 10 to 15 minutes, making small rocking movements. It is important to keep in mind that contraction of the vaginal muscles is adverse, so if this occurs, the exercise should be stopped.
The objective is to relax the vaginal region as well as seek the pleasure that accompanies it, therefore, it is recommended to use a very comfortable place to perform the exercises and to listen to soft music.
